Use Boat on any device - phone, tablet, or desktop. Your Google Sheet and Drive folder act as the shared copy, so notes added on one device appear on all others automatically.

Sign in on any device - phone, tablet, or desktop - and your full workspace is there. Boat uses your own Google Sheet and Drive folder as the shared copy of your notes. You own the storage, and you can open either directly at any time. How it works Every action in Boat saves to your device immediately. When you go online, Boat pushes those changes to your Google Sheet and Drive folder in the background. On your other devices, Boat pulls those changes in - so notes stay in sync without you doing anything. Adding a second device Sign in on any device with the same Google account. Boat syncs your full workspace down automatically. Notes added on one device appear on the others the next time they go online. Conflicts If you edit the same note on two devices at the same time, Boat keeps the most recent version when they next sync. Your data, your storage Your notes live in a Google Sheet you own. Your media lives in a Drive folder you own. Both are standard formats - open them directly at any time, no export needed. Use .sync run for a two-way sync, .sync push to upload immediately, or .sync pull to pull the latest from your Sheet. Run .sync status to see the queue and last sync time.
