Date and time reminders on any note. Supports recurrence. Delivered as push notifications.
A nudge is a reminder attached to a note. Set a date, time, and optional recurrence - Boat delivers a push notification when it fires. Tap the bell icon on a note to add or edit a nudge. The notification includes the note title - tap it to open the note directly. Nudge notifications are delivered by the browser even when Boat is not open. You'll need to allow notifications when prompted. If you've blocked notifications, enable them in your browser or device settings. Setting a nudge The default time is tomorrow at 9am - tap the bell and save to set it immediately. To change the time, use the date and time picker to dial in exactly what you want, or tap the Talk button and describe it in plain language: "next Monday at 8am" "every Friday at 5pm" "in two weeks" There is also a quick button to set the timer to 'now' to make it easier to select nearer nudge time slots. Nudge On If a nudge has passed and you didn't action it, Boat shows a Nudge On button. Tap it to bump the reminder forward - it moves to the next natural slot based on the recurrence, or to a sensible upcoming time for one-off nudges. No need to manually reschedule. Filtering by nudge Use the bell icon in the filter bar to narrow your notes by nudge state: Any nudge - shows all notes that have a nudge set, past or future Upcoming only - shows only notes with a future nudge, sorted by closest date first This makes it easy to review what's coming up or find notes with reminders you haven't cleared yet.
