The Note Loop shows how your effort is distributed across the three stages of Boat's note lifecycle - Capture, Clarify, and Complete - over the last 7 days. Boat computes this from your local activity and displays it as a ring chart. Each arc is sized in proportion to how much activity happened in that stage. The dominant stage gets a summary: "Most of your effort - 58% - goes into Capture." The three stages Capture - notes created, photos added, audio recorded, media attached Clarify - Boat Insights run, questions asked, notes moved into lists, flags applied, nudges set Complete - items marked as done What it tells you An unbalanced loop is normal. Capture tends to dominate at the start of a project. Complete spikes when you finish something. But a consistently low stage can be a useful signal: Very low Clarify - you may have notes piling up that you've never revisited or organised Very low Complete - work may not be getting closed out The Note Loop is not a score or a grading system.
