Move completed notes to Done to archive them without deleting.
Done is the archive list. Move notes to Done when you've finished with them but don't want to delete them. Done behaves like any other list - you can browse, search, and filter its contents. Notes in Done don't appear in the default view of other lists, so they stay out of the way while remaining accessible. Done is always present and cannot be deleted. To permanently remove a note, delete it from Done. Deletion is permanent - if there's any chance you'll want a note again, leave it in Done rather than deleting it. Automatic local cleanup To keep Boat fast, notes that have been in Done for 28 days are quietly removed from your device's local storage. This only happens if the note has already synced to your Google Sheet - unsynced notes are never touched. The cleanup runs once a day in the background while you're online. Your notes are never gone - they stay in your Google Sheet indefinitely. To bring cleaned-up notes back to this device, open Done and tap Fetch All when Boat shows notes available on remote, or run .sync list done. Regular .sync pull does not re-import Done archive items - Done sync is on-demand only.
