Ask for specific notes in plain language and get them back with action buttons - move, flag, or open.

Boat Assist takes a plain-language request, finds the matching notes, and gives you action buttons to act on them immediately - without learning any commands. Where to find it Open the Dive panel (the Clarify button) and type your request. You can also type directly into the command bar - Boat routes natural-language requests to Assist automatically when they match a search or batch operation. What you can filter by Date - last week, this month, yesterday, last 30 days Flag - flagged as a specific flag, or without any flag List - notes in your inbox, in a specific list Media - has photo, has video, has audio, has sketch Links - notes with a link Nudge - notes with a reminder set Text - notes containing a word or phrase Location - captured near a place Recency - my last 5 notes, newest 10 Filters combine - "unflagged notes from last week in Dock with a photo" works as a single request. What you can do with results Each matching note shows an action button based on what you asked: Move - move the note to a specific list Add flag / Remove flag - apply or remove a named flag Mark Done - send the note to Done Combine - merge a set of similar or duplicate notes into one. Boat drafts the merged note for you to confirm; the originals move to Done Open - open the note to read or edit When more than one note matches, a do all button applies the action to every result at once. Example requests How it works Boat uses AI to read your request and turn it into search criteria. The search and every action then run on-device - only the interpretation step uses credits.
